In this episode of ‘Flashback’, veteran actor Anang Desai talks about his personal & professional life. Anang Desai’s family has had three generations of doctors, but despite this, they did not force Anang to become a doctor instead of an actor. Desai has appeared in more than 100 television shows and 70 films. During a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble’s host Avinash Pal, Anang reveals how his cinematic journey started. Anang mentions that he moved from Gujarat to Delhi, where he joined the National School of Drama, and then came to Mumbai. Anang made his Bollywood debut in the film “Gandhi” in 1982. He is known for his portrayal of the character Babuji in the television series Khichdi. He shares how he got Khichdi & how his character got him so much love. Anang opens up on movie remake culture. He also recalls his last conversation with the late Satish Kaushik. During the chat, he discusses the fee he received for Khichdi the film and how he got the role.
